From January 2nd calls will be coming back into The Mandeville Practice and WILL NO LONGER be routed through the GP Access Centre.

We ask please for your patience during this time of transition as our staff will be handling a much higher volume of calls than over the past year, and it is during a very busy time of year immediately after the Christmas and New Year holidays. Many thanks.

Farewell and thank you to Jennifer Weston

We are sad to announce that one of our Clinical Pharmacists, Jennifer Weston is leaving us for pastures new. We wish Jennifer all the very best in her new role in Oxfordshire & would like to thank her for her valued contribution to the practice during her time with us.

New local health advice website

Health Help Now is a free service for people in Bucks which you can downlaod to your phone, laptop or tablet so you can get NHS advice about the best place to go for your health concerns.  You can use Health Help Now to check your symptoms and find the nearest place you can go for treatment.  All pharmacies, dentists and GP surgeries are listed, as well as A&E details and the Minor Injuries and Illness Unit.

The app breaks down symptoms according to age groups.

The web app is available via www.healthhelpnow-nhs.net and can be saved to your phone, tablet or computer.

GP Net Earnings

All GP pratices are required to declare the mean earnings (eg average pay) for GPs working to deliver NHS services to patients at each practice.  The average pay for GPs working for six months or more in The Mandeville Practice in the last financial year was £54,277 before Tax and National Insurance.  This is for 2 full time, 6 part time and 1 locum GP for the financial year ended 31st March, 2015.
